Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine so far I have only been on one short ride, so far it seems to be good. One of the main issues are the tender springs being too weak. Hopefully a-arm bushings, ball joints, and wheel bearings last longer than my 2016 also. Still the best machine for the trails we ride in Kentucky and Tennessee. Going to try it out in the Black Hills of South Dakota this summer also. Put a lot of upgrades and accessories on it before riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun My RZR make it possible to explore with friends and family, would be nice to see better drivetrain and shock components across the board with the machines. Feel like the xp1k should have the upgraded internals like the turbo regardless of power differences. Shocks should be dual spring rate out of the box tender springs collapse with little to know mileage, seems the older machines held up better than newer machines not sure if it’s cost or production. Still a fun ride and I would encourage anyone to get a sxs to get out there and just explore

Bought Polaris half windshield - had to trim off the passenger side edge to get it to fit, and the curve ( at slow speeds ), is right in my line of sight - REMOVED IT. Bought Polaris window nets - had to re-bend the passenger side frame so it did not stick out from the cage 2 inches. Tried it and did not like how it blocked my field of view on the driver side - REMOVED THEM. Bought Polaris side mirrors, there is a spacers washer missing, and they do not look like they are going to stay adjusted - don't know, have not ridden with them yet. After pulling the cage bolts to install the side mirrors - the left front cage upright sprang out of position by more than an inch. Someone did not build a decent jig - or the welder did not weld in the correct sequence. So far - I am fairly disappointed with the lack of quality. I have bought seven ( 7 ) Polaris ATVs since the early 1980's . They were all great machines. I only have 50 miles on this new 2018 Polaris XP 1000 so far - not even broken in yet, I hope that the next ride does not reveal more problems. You guys have been making these for a while - I am very disappointed that the quality is sorely lacking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This 1000xp is a DUD I bought this machine on April 6, started riding the middle of May. Within a few days of using this it was in the shop due to a limp mode and the speedometer not working. A sensor in the back was replaced. That was NOT the problem. The brake sensor in the front was replaced a few days later and that was the problem. Another trip to the shop. Around May 19 we noticed a oil leak on the back driveshaft and brought the machine in for analysis. The mechanic said the 'seal was leaking'. On May 21 we brought the rzr in for an oil change, and they replaced the seal. On May 26 we noticed a noise. It was losing power and getting nosier. On Monday, May 28 , it was brought to the shop. 'It sounded like a rod knocking' everyone said. The motor was taken apart, pictures were taken and sent to the tech at Polaris. It was determined that the 'WRONG' gears were installed at the factory. Polaris was going to 'rebuild' it, but was determined that there was 'sufficient damage' so a new motor was going to be sent from the factory in Osceola Wi. This is a POLARIS problem. I know that the one I bought was not the only one made on that day on the same assembly line. Major problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesomeness I purchased my 1000 RZR xp in march of this year, the thrill I was seeking, has been seeked,it's got enough ponies to pin your ears back, enough clearance,and suspension to get you pretty much anywhere you desire, Ive had many off-road toys over the past , but this is a different animal, I never really knew thrill until I thrashed and bashed through undiscovered lands and forest on my Polaris 1000XP RZR!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love it but a little disappointed. Love my XP but a little disappointed in few areas. It rides great and has plenty of power and feels stable. I'm disappointed in how much the springs have already weakened and I've lost over an 1 1/2" of ground clearance in three months. I absolutely hate the way it jerks around when trying to slowly maneuver into tight places like toy hauler or garage. Some of the plastic is already bowing and getting deformed looking. If I had it to do over I would might consider other options a little more closely but would probably purchase the XP again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love everything... other than the tires Everything seems to be going good and holding up well other than the tires. Within the first 40 miles, I blew out the drivers side rear tire by coming around and corner and hitting a small rock. By hitting the rock, it put 3 holes in the sidewall of the tire. 2 in the middle and 1 along the bead and it dented the rim a little. Other than that, the machine has made me happy so far. Could you guys do 8 ply tires from the factory / dealership??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible machine!! First-and-foremost, there isn't a lot this machine can't do. It has the power to climb some of the steepest terrain, it's got the suspension to handle some of the roughest terrain, and it has some serious giddy-up on flat terrain. Couple this with the Ride Command technology with it's state-of-the-art navigation and bumpin' sound system and you're ready for a day on the trails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Package for the RZR This is an excellent all around package for an RZR. The features that come with this version are awesome. The high clearance parts, rock sliders, winch, beadlock wheels, full body skid plate, gear reduction, and harnesses are all awesome upgrades over a stock machine. The only thing I would change (and I did) is go to a 32” tire for additional clearance for rock crawling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great performance, mediocre fit and finish This machine has simply awesome performance. Climbs hills with ease. Very fast ride. The worst part of the XP 1000's performance is that it has enough power right from the factory, bone stock, to break traction in the rear and get out of control. It takes just a little while to get used to. Now for the bad parts. The doors. Should come with either ,full doors, or no doors. Having a large open area in the bottom of the door lets all the dirt water and mud come right in and sit on your lap. Fit and finish on the RZR could use more attention also. For example. Several of the bolts that fasten the fender flares to the body came loose in the first five hours of use. When I tightened them, a couple of the nut clips broke through the plastic. Paint. After I washed it for the first time, I noticed that the paint had chipped out on several of the welds on the chasis. They were starting to rust the next day. Now the pros. Power. This thing is a powerhouse. Plain and simple. Suspension. Rides excellent. Handles rough terrain great at low and high speeds. Tire size. 29 inch tall tires contribute to the smooth ride. Service. Oil changes are convenient and simple. They don't require removal of skid plates or body panels. A real plus if you like to do your own service. Over all it's a great machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Machine I bought my trail and rocks Edition in January we have been to West Virginia and two Ride Royal Blue in Tennessee. The machine runs fantastic it will go anywhere not once that I get stuck anywhere on any trails. we actually had to winch a few people up some hills that they could not get up. Great performaning machine overall and you get a lot of extras for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine I bought this beast four months ago specifically for the type of riding we do and that’s rocks and trails. The machine has done amazing thanks to all the thought and design Polaris put into the machine. I do have only a couple complaints: lack of storage, no hitch receiver, front wheels for some reason are not recessed behind bead locks to protect lug nuts and hub caps (broke both one on one ride then the other the next ride and they’re not cheap) and lastly no front fenders to keep everything from flying at you or in the cab.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not living up to the hype I’ve had my XP 1000 Dynamix for almost 5 months now. I’ve put around 300 miles on it. The suspension is amazing and works the way it’s designed, but the rest of it does not. The quality of the backup camera is not what it should be. It gets fuzzy and sometimes doesn’t focus. The Ride Command is alright with size, GPS, and the way I interact with it, but no longer having the buddy follow was not told to me, had to find out after purchase. The music side of it is a joke. It only plays from one channel no matter where I plug it in at and the quality is horrible. I think you tightened up the steering on these. I had an S before this and an XP 1000 before that, so I know it will not turn like the S, but the 2015 XP 1000 I owned had stronger power steering. This one feels like it’s only about half as strong. The 2015 could be operated with one hand easily, but this one required both hands. I know the power steering is working when I shut it off and it’s harder to turn. With out key on its almost to hard to turn. This machine also has a pull to the left. Steering wheel is not straight since I bought it. I will be taking it back to dealer to have them address the issues, if they will. I’ve been a RZR guy since 2009 and have had all of mine torn down to all stages of service. So, I know my machines. This one, is Not living up to the price tag nor the label

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Ride Purchased this 2019 model in January and have been very happy with its overall performance. So far, I have put nearly 300 miles on it in in several states. Kudos to Sport Cycles in Rockingham NC for going over the product, breakin, and maintenance info in detail. Definitely give it a thumbs up for anyone looking for a good rock climbing machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy I bought 2020 Rzr XP 1000 and within the first 12 hours on machine the rear driver axle has snapped 3 times. The first time was during the break in period with speeds under 30MPH. The dealer fixed the first one under warranty but refused to take care of the second or third. Something is wrong with this machine. I do not mud it or abuse it.
