Z-20-01 Polaris RZR Bulletin

The following is a copy of the Z-20-01 Consumer Letter. Vehicles affected by the bulletin will receive notification by mail to the address the vehicle is registered to.

Dear Polaris Owner,
Thank you for being one of the first customers to purchase the new RZR Pro XP! Everything about the new RZR Pro XP was designed with you in mind to deliver the best off-road experience. It has come to our attention that select 2020 RZR Pro XP vehicles are not living up to this promise and could be experiencing belt slip under certain conditions. Our records indicate your vehicle is affected by this issue.

To ensure we deliver on the promise of the best off-road experience, we are issuing a service bulletin to repair this issue.

What you should do:
Contact your authorized Polaris Dealer to schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed. Do not attempt repairs yourself. Repairs must be done only by an authorized Polaris dealer. The repair should take approximately 1.0 hours. When making contact with your dealer, discuss parts availability, their schedule and how long they will need to keep your vehicle.

What your dealership will do:
To address this concern, your dealer will install a new secondary clutch spring. This work will be performed by your dealer at no cost to you.

This notice was mailed to you according to our most current registration information. If you no longer own this vehicle, or if some of the contact information in this notice is incorrect, please contact your dealer to complete a transfer of ownership. Federal law requires that any vehicle lessor receiving this recall notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee within 10 days.
