RZR XP 1000 High Lifter

2021 RZR XP 1000 High Lifter Ghost Gray is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 168.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Family time at its best! During the pandemic and everything being on lockdown we were looking into new outdoor activities to do as a family. We have had years of experience ATVs and dirtbikes and thought a RZR would be a fun new experience. It exceeded all expectations! We spend at least one weekend a month and sometimes 3 out in the woods on adventures. We have had a ton of fun whether its in the trails, mud, creeks and/or sand. My only complaint is cleaning it after!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As Advertised This buggy will destroy the mud. I leave all the turbos in the dust on the muddy trails. However, this buggy struggles to keep up on the rocky trails and the slick hills. It’s only because of the tires. I bought a set of 30’’ carnivores to swap out when we ride somewhere the outlaw 2s aren’t needed. If you don’t ride in the creeks or the mud, buy a turbo. But if you want to go in the deep end, gotta be the highlifter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XP 4 1000 rides awesome. I recently took my Brand new XP4 to WV to the outlaw trails. We rode in snow covered trails one day that turned into soupy trails the next day, when the snow melted. XP4 did awesome through the different types of conditions. We rode for days that totaled 200 miles. Saturday was 140 miles alone. Love this machine. I had a Can Am commander 1000 before, way more happier with this XP4 1000!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Machine This is the second High Lifter Edition RZR that I have owned . I owned a 2015 model and that is what led me to buy the 2018 model. It is a no brainer to buy the High Lifter Edition RZR. You get the factory front bumper and winch and full lower doors high clearance lower a arms and high clearance radius rods and factory snorkels. Stuff that you would have to pay extra for comes stick on it .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase I've made!! I've had my 19 xp1000 now for about 3 months and I have to say it was probably the best purchase I've ever made. Going from my racing wheeler to this was a whole new ball park and still learning stuff about it. I do have to say though these things are money pits but in a good way!! There is so many options and aftermarket parts that just make this thing even more top notch!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheep roll cages Bought 2018 high lifter in april. Sweet running buggy. However very cheep roll cages. Also for the price should have a full covering skid plate and stronger roll cage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is tuff I just made three month's with my 2019 RZR XP4 1000 High Lifter and i could'nt be more happy. I bought it for trail and mud riding in south Louisiana and it's performed amazing. I had clearance issue's with the ruts and stumps being too deep on some of the trails, so I did a 5" bracket lift and put bigger wheels on it. That changed the whole appearance and it looks 1000x better. The only issue that I've had was when the driveshaft broke. Polaris made me feel like I was on my own and they weren't warranting it. They pretty much made it sound like I broke it trail riding and was on my own. I had to make multiple phone calls too convince them that I was using the buggy for what I bought it for, mud and trail riding. Not a good experience at all Polaris! Also I bought it from John at Performance Powersports in Houma, LA and got a great deal and great customer service. They were top notch from the beginning to the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Power After years of thinking about buying this High Lifter, I finally pulled the trigger. This machine exceeded all expectations. I no longer get stuck in the mud. It gives you feel of confidence that it will go through anything. I love being able to see my water temperature at all times. Also unlike my old machine, the radiator is allot easier to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun SXS Great overall experience on the highlifter RZR. Seats force you into a slightly uncomfortable position. Machine has lots of power and handles very well. It’s very off road capable and lots of fun. Don’t know why Polaris doesn’t put fender flares from the factory as it throws mud all over rider and passenger on slightly muddy trail rides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quad ever I bought a RZR 1000xp 4 and I am shock at how great this quad is. The thing that impresses me the most is that Polaris made it easy to wire extra thing to the quad. Under the hood is a area that you can connect to ignition power. This blew me away!! This made it so easy to hook up power to my speaker. No other company does this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok ride My wife and i purchased this unit in may 2018. It is very hard to clea n since its a mud machine it gets muddy there are a couple of things i would change to it like standard roof and half windshield, the whinch cable plug in is in a horrable spot threads on spring adjustment are to fine of threads easy to strip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the extra money!!! Decided to spend a little extra for the highlifter edition for the upgrades and I’m glad I did!!! Ride with guys that bought 2018 standard editions and they’re already tearing them apart from breaking reverse chains and Installing gear reductions. All are saying they should have listened to me!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine! Plenty of power! Bought this machine about 3 months ago. Great machine over all with just a few places for improvement. The tender springs were already collapsed but that's a know issue on RZRs. Also burnt a belt fairly easy even with a long break in period. Other than that, perfect everywhere else!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall good machine Love the platform, couple weak points. Clutch problems within 12 hours of riding but customer service was bang on and got me going, downside I lost 3 weeks of ride time. Suspension is weak and had to buy aftermarket springs as Polaris wouldn’t honour warranty on that s item

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highlifter RZR review Ive had my machine for a few months with approx 300 miles on it. No issues so far. I think polaris should fix the secondary clutch roller issue as well as the tender spring issue being collapsed from the factory. Overall I have had a good experience so far with my machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It will do what I need it to I bought this back in September brand new , worst money to value I ever spent, first time in waist deep water , I smoked the primary clutch cause water got into clutch cover cause last person to put clutch cover on either factory or dealership, pinched seal on clutch cover

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Capable Machine After waiting on production delays for a few months, I finally got my RZR and am mostly satisfied. The upper (tender) shock springs are useless and fully compressed from the factory. Replaced with RZRAID tenders and ride improved 100%. Very capable machine for down south.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get Muddy I just traded in a 2010 Rzr 4 Robbie Gordon 800. Great machine and why I bought another Polaris product. The new highlifter takes a little getting use to with a higher center of gravity but the power to get through the mud is incredible. Can't wait for the weekends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Off Road Machine We traded in our 900 Trail for the Highlifter 1000 a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier with our decision. This beast goes through everything you can throw at it - mud, water, technical climbs, you name it, the highlifter does it with ease. We highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 1000XP Highlifter I bought this SXS RZR 1000 XP Highlifter about 3 months ago been on 4 weekend rides, I had a can am maverick 1000 before this. RZR performance is unbelievable low end p I pulls so strong in the mud, haven’t took it to it’s top end but it is so fast great sxs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Fun!! My husband and I bought the Rzr in March to go on a couple rides with friends. My husband road 4 wheelers before this purchase. It is super fun! You can do all the things you want to do driving but can't on the road with your car. We love mud!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice power, comfortable, looks great I'm impressed with the power of this machine. I own a ranger 900xp and the Rzr is night and day different. RZR is comfortable and powersteering is great. I do not like the reverse. It barely moves in reverse. I think that should be addressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Machine. Glad I made the purchase. The machine is awesome, fast, fun and very powerful. I love the HighLifter model, the suspension travel is incredible and having the longer wheelbase, (4) seater model, gives this machine superior stability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Overall Would be nice if HL would include a lift already on their editions but overall very happy with my buy. Have rarely had to use 4 low, and have been able to follow some of the bigger bikes with lifts and 35+” tires for the most part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect package deal Had it a few months now and I love it! This rzr was perfect for me cause it being a highlifter comes with more clearance, bumper, winch and lower doors and much more to make it easier to get where I’m going on the trails

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible grinding in AWD. Bought my machine in December. Has been in shop for 3 months trying to fix problems that Polaris says is normal. Dealer has been great, just sad about Polaris's lack of interest in making machine work as it should.
